2007 Wild Bill Days in DEADWOOD

Something new! (Over a dozen bands in 3 days of beer-drinking on MAIN STREET).
OK... Maybe it didn't work out very well in the rain, but I guess it was worth a try!

The local reenactors did the best they could with a number of gunfight shows below the stage area... between the showers!

Last week the gun fights stayed far away from the Western Governors, and moved again this week. Sure kept them on the run!

Steve and Jim provided entertainment for the fast draw area... Many other outfits helped make it a real cowboy event!

The bands played a varity of music... between the tornado and hail storms! (And it was a bit cool the following day).

From coyboy headquarters in the morning to main street at night, nice outfits were plentiful.

The Cowboy Crush girls entertained the best, (Trick Pony had the largest crowd). Most bars were very busy.

The weather was the biggest problem, followed by the fifty or so unauthorized video cameras doing shaky close-ups!
The police also had their hands full after people drank beer all day and then switched to whiskey after being rained out.
They were even called into the worst fighting that can ever happen in this town... and tazzered a wedding nite cat fight!
Bikers with knives and chains... Cowboys with whips and guns... no problem. Hair pulling with teeth and nails, whoa!

Good thing the girls in Cowboy Crush were here the following night to show what women are best at... making children smile!
